ÇOMU

Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMU) was established in 1992 and is now one of the leading public universities in Türkiye. It houses nearly 48,000 students, 2,000 qualified academics, and 2,300 administrative personnel. Moreover, it incorporates 21 faculties, two colleges, 13 vocational schools, 45 research centers, a graduate school, and a university hospital on 19 campuses.

Its core values are academic freedom, dynamism, transparency, flexibility, and innovation. These fundamental values are nurtured through academic, scientific, and sociocultural activities, international exchange programs, and strategic partnerships with national and international academic and non-academic agents. To promote these values, ÇOMU seeks to become an international hub of academic and scientific excellence not only by offering national and international students a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses but also by presenting them with the opportunity to enjoy academic and scientific cooperation with globally renowned higher education institutions around the world. Aligning themselves with these values, the faculty members at ÇOMU are committed to excellence in teaching and research in a dynamic and creative academic environment.

Good things come in big and beautiful packages as well. Erected on an area of nearly 3,000 square meters of land, our central Terzioğlu Campus sits on a hill to offer its family members and visitors an inspiring view over the Strait of Çanakkale, connecting Asia and Europe, which symbolically embodies our core values and resonates with our Rector’s motto, "Further Together".
