The 4th Annual Conference for the Faculty of Higher Education Studies was held in collaboration with the ÇÖMÜ Faculty of Education Department.
The symposium was started with a speech made by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Department, Prof. Dr. Salih Zeki Genç stating that, ``for three days, we will collectively experience the productive sharing and evaluating of questions related to higher education and general education. I believe the most valuable investments we can generate are the investments made in youth and education.``
President Prof. Dr. Sedat Murat was in attendance. He indicated that universities should adapt to global changes and we should provide an educational model suitable to these changes, by stating, ``Youth, globally and domestically, are largely trasformıng. There are serious changes expected in societal life and technology. We, as universities, must ensure an education model suitable to meet these changes.``
Afterwards, the Dean of the Faculty Education Department from TED University Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak commenced his presentation by saying, ``Growth, variety and student services in higher education will be made anew.``
