In its 30th anniversary, ÇOMU, with all its branches, entered among the first 16 higher education institutions which were accredited internationally among 210 universities in Turkey. The purpose of the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) is to increase the global visibility of Turkish universities and the validity of their diplomas. KAP is recognized by important institutions such as the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World (AQAAIW), the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
