The project application for IraSME’s (International Research Activities by Small and Medium Entreprises) 28th Call for the Projects, under the coordination of Ass. Prof. Dr. Fatih Kahraman from the Department of Field Crop/Faculty of Agriculture at COMU, was accepted.
The project was prepared in partnership with four different institutions from Turkey and Russia. These are Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi, BAF Elektronik Yazılım Tarım A.Ş., from Turkey; and Lumex-Centrum LCC, Agroplazma LCC from Russia. The aim of the project is to develop a high-tech device for the classification of the seeds. Total budget of the project is 381.000 Euro and it is estimated to be completed in 28 months. This project is also the first international project of BAF Elektronik Yazılım Tarım A.Ş., which was established under Tubitak’s 1512 BIGG program.
